Finance: Investment Operations Associate
Financial advisor support services firm is looking for a bright, energetic motivated professional to join our investment operations team. Individual MUST HAVE experience using Portfolio Center software and Advent Axys experience, in addition, is a plus. Individual will need to work well under pressure and tight deadlines. Primary activities will include portfolio management software download, reconciliation, account set-up, reporting and maintenance. Other responsibilities will include trading, account transfer facilitation, error remediation, special projects and coordination with our Registered Investment Advisor clients.
Candidate must have excellent composition, communication, and mathematical skills with an acute attention to detail. Candidate must excel in an independent working environment as well as work successfully within a team. Full Microsoft Office software proficiency and advanced Portfolio Center software experience required. Series 65 is a plus.
Our firm is a back office outsource service provider of Operations, IT and Compliance services to Registered Investment Advisor firms. We provide a unique opportunity for investment operations professionals to expand their knowledge, experience, and skill set in a challenging environment.
Individual will need to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
Primary activities will include:
- Daily - Complete daily download, reconciliation and posting of applicable client custodial data feeds to Portfolio management software
- Issue Resolution – Provide daily support, data issue resolution, and daily request processing for Clients
- Client Communication – Act as the main point of contact for client-related issues, both internally and externally
- Account set-up, reporting & maintenance
Other responsibilities will include:
- Trading
- Error remediation - data issue resolution
- Account transfer facilitation
- Client Implementation – Manage the New Client Implementation process for assigned clients, along with other large-scope client related issues as needed
- Special projects and coordination with our registered investment advisor clients
Candidate must have excellent composition, communication, and mathematical skills with an acute attention to detail. Full Microsoft software proficiency and portfolio management software experience (Advent, Portfolio Center, etc.) required.
